Download AlertMe app to receive RUAlerts during crisis
Note: Please make sure you have a Regis email and are already registered for RUAlerts before downloading and logging in. RUAlerts via Campus Safety can be joined by texting “Join RUAlert” to 30890 and are different from Regis Updates, which are posted here on www.RegisUpdates.com.
RUAlert (via Campus Safety) is one of the most important ways to stay updated on critical messages from Regis. However, the COVID-19 pandemic is a rapidly evolving situation that is taxing cellular networks in areas across the globe. Text/SMS services may be affected during crises, and we urge you to ensure you have alternative ways to connect with your recipients. These include personal emails, secondary or landline phones, and apps that work on WiFi.
The free AlertMe app for iOS and Android allows RUAlert to communicate important notifications and alerts. In the event of an emergency, the app can also reach you based on your location. Even if cell towers are down or overloaded in your area and text/SMS messages cannot be delivered, push notifications can still be delivered via WiFi.
Below are the steps needed to login to the free AlertMe app. Please make sure you are already registered for RUAlerts before downloading and logging in. Please note: RUAlerts via Campus Safety can be joined by texting “Join RUAlert” to 30890 and are different from Regis Updates, which are only posted here on www.RegisUpdates.com.
